I've just had like the worst class so far. It was the grade 3's and we just didn't get anything done all lesson and I feel abit stressed out about it. Another teacher came in twice and even then I couldn't get them to do anything. Hopefully I'll be aloud to stop teaching them or perhaps given more help because urghhh that was so bad. I don't think it's really their fault but it's just that the work is so much harder than grade 2 I think. Plus the book is so much more boring. I tryed to make it more interesting by mixing things up but I just couldn't get them to understand or even listen. Either way I feel like I really need to moan about it. Plus In the 5th graders I keep getting boys mixed up with girls and visa versa. It's really quite bad. Bad day. Bad day.
But if you want to hear about a good day here you go.
Last week I took a trip to the Jade Budda Temple which was to put it bluntly AMAZING. It's actually very rare for such old buildings to be seen in Shanghai because Shanghai doesn't really have the same amount of old culural things to be seen as Beijing etc. It was just in the middle of a really normal part of shanghai. Maybe even a bit shabby for Shanghai's standards. I'm really enjoying the challenge of finding these sights though. Just walking around parts of Shanghai I've never been to is half the fun. Sometimes you can see massive contracts in living conditions just between two neighbours.

   Jade Temple is in Jing An rite? I've never been there...Although I lived in Shanghai for 3 years before..
